Coppell linked with a number of forwards

Steve Coppell is set to bring in a forward in a hope to find the net and turn so many of theses defeats into draws. After the latest defeat at the hands of Crewe he expressed his disapointment with the level of finshing from Shaun Goater and especially Nicky Forster.

Manager, Steve Coppell has hinted that a new forward is set to be bought in ahead of a period of games against the top sides. Reading play Wigan on saturday, Millwall the following week and then West Bromich Albion the week after that away from home.

A number of players have been linked with the club including Cambridge United hotshot, Dave Kiston and Sam Parkin of local rivals Swindon. But since Coppell has announced the club only have the budget to bring in a loan signing it looks like he may look in the Premiership for a loan forward.
