Reading Vs Wigan Athletic Match Preview

Reading welcome the Division 1 leaders Wigan Athletic tomorrow to the Madejski Stadium for what surely is a must win game for the Royals. Paul Jewell's team have been the surprise package this season and have some great wins under there belt already.

Reading will be without England U21 Star Steve Sidwell tomorrow who is suspended after notching up his 5th booking this season.His place is likely to go to either midfielder Kevin Watson,who this week admitted his future may lie away from the Madejski Stadium if he can't find regular first team football. If Watson isn't recalled ex Wigan target Shaun Goater could earn a recall.The striker played 60 minutes in the reserves draw with Crystal Palace.

The Royals will be able to welcome back defender Greame Murty and striker Darius Henderson. Murty had been injured since the Norwich game due to a calf injury while Henderson had been stuggling with a stomach injury. But Steve Brown and John Mackie are still sidelined with injury's after both undergoing surgery.

Wigan aern't expected to be changed from last Saturday's thrashing of Crystal Palace which saw ex Palace boss Steve Kember lose his job.However 1 player who won't be playing is Peterbrough striker Leon McKenzie.The Latics have been unable to agree personal terms but boss Paul Jewell talks may reopen during the week.
