| I have decided to put in a page about any moans and groans about Reading Football Club or Football in general. I have decided to start it off with a moan bout the stewards and Reading Football Club. Saturday's game against Milwall saw over 2,000 away fans make the journey from East London. The complaint I have to make is that last season and the curent season the Football Club decided to take a more harder line on the fans that decided to stand during the match. This was the majority in Y25 and Y26 in the East Stand. With people being banned and moved to other sections of the ground. This section of the ground have stood for the majority of the game since the ground opened in 1998 being the most vocal part of the ground. So on Saturday throughtout the game why the hell were Millwall fans aloud to stand all round the entrance to the concourse and sitting in the walkway throughout the game. And guess what the stewards did not do anything. For starters that could be seen as a safety hazard and second this allowed them the right to stand during the game and so make a fair amount of noise. Reading gave them a 2,000 allocation so they ha seats to sit in but were allowed not to. The club have always said that the Madejski Stadium is quiet, so they decide to ban and move the fans who generate the noise and then allow the away fans to do what they like and out sing us? Come on Reading FC give us an answer because I think the club polices need to be looked at. Just email me at bluearmy50@yahoo.com Do you have any complaints or queries. Feel free to email me and we will try to get an answer from the powers above. |
