Owusu keen to stay with Royals

Lloyd Owusu opened his Royals account with a goal in the weekend’s game against Ipswich Town and it now looks like he is keen to make his move to the South East a permanent one. Something that Reading fans hopes come true.

Lloyd Owusu has made it clear he wants to stay with the Royals on a permanent basis after scoring his first goal for the Royals in there 1:1 draw with promotion rivals, Ipswich Town. Owusu finished off a sweeping move with a clinical header, which beat the diving fiqure of Kelvin Davis, and he celebrated the goal on his usual fashion.

Owusu has become a bit of a hit with the Royals fans after some impressive appearances. He is the sort of the player that we have been lacking. Someone who can win the ball in the air and has a presence, which defenders do not like. With his loan running out soon I for one am hopeful that his stay at the Madejski Stadium is extended and that he becomes a permanent feature of the Reading team.
