Owusu to stay for another month

Steve Coppell has confirmed that Lloyd Owusu will be staying with the Royals for at least another month. Owusu has become an instant hit with the Royals fans after some impressive performances, which included his first goal for Reading in their draw with Ipswich Town.

It is unclear as to whether Owusu will be staying with the Royals on a permanent basis but if he continues his current form the Reading manager with have little choice especially with Reading's recent run of results which has seen them not win in there last seven games.

He is almost certain to start on Saturday against struggling Nottingham Forest. Paul Hart has come in for a lot of stick for Forest's poor form which has seen them not win in 13 games and are now sitting fourth from bottom in the division. There was set to be an emergency board meeting at the City Ground to discuss whether Hart should continue as Manager of Nottingham Forest. More news to come on this matter as it happens.
