Directions Leave the M60 at Junction 31 and follow the signs to Preston. Continue to do this and eventually you will see the ground in site. There are plenty of places available to park but if you are stuck it may be worth trying the large retail park.
Drink Outside The ground surrounds a high density of housing with the town around a mile away. There is a large retail park nearby with a few fast food outlets.
Food outside I did not see any food outside of the ground when going there this season. Though there is plenty of choice inside the ground the food is reasonable priced.

The Experience

Deepdale has undergone massive change in the past few years with three large stands being built. There is some stunning looking floodlights in the corners of the stands as well! The only downside id the old pavilion the runs aside one side of the pitch. Until money can be found it will remain here.
Also the Football Museum is a must. It is located in the corner of the side stand and the away stand and when I went this season and entry was free. It is very interesting and plenty of things to do and see. You can view the Simod Cup that Reading won!
