Former Reading fans favourite, Jamie Cureton is on the verge of signing for fellow hoops Queens Park Rangers. Yesterday it looked like Peterborough had won the race for his signature but Cureton has decided to team up with Ian Holloway for a second time.

A nominal fee has been agreed with Busan Icons believed to be around £50,000. Last week a deal with QPR had looked over after the London club could not agree a fee with the Korean outfit. Cureton will sign a contract which is around 18 months long along has he passes the medical.

The player will give Rangers that added lift after falling behind leaders Plymouth Argyle vat the top of Division 2. Rangers have a wealth of forward options and manager, Ian Holloway is hoping Cureton can give them that added bite in the final third that will get them promoted this season.
