Leicester City Manager, Micky Adams today named his retained list for the 2004/05 season and is releasing 13 players from the club. With Paul Brooker available on a free transfer although he is still under contract at the club.

Steve Coppell is still in the hunt for another winger after announcing John Salako will be leaving the club in the summer after not being handed a contract extension. Brooker was on loan at The Royals at the end of the 2003/04 campaign and Coppell is a big admirer of the former Fulham man. They were together at Brighton before Brooker made a move to the Foxes. Brooker came on for the last 15 minutes on Saturday in Leicester's defeat at Champions Arsenal, which could be his last appearance in a Leicester shirt.

It remains to be seen if Coppell makes a move for the player but with money always an issue he may see Brooker to be the perfect man. Royals fans have not seen the best of the player after struggling with injuries while on loan at the Madejski and could be sceptical of the permanent signing of the player but he does posses good quality on the wings, which Reading have lacked.
