Reading striker Dean Morgan has signed a new 2 year deal at the club which will keep him at the Madejski Stadium until the end of the 2005/2006 season.

The former Colchester United front man has made a good impression since moving back in November and scored his 1st goal for the first team in the 3-2 win over Cardiff City.

Morgan can also play left wing but Steve Coppell has stated in the past he is better as a front man.

Also signing for the club was academy scholars Louis Soares and Simieon Howell. They have signed a 1 year deal keeping them here until the end of the 2004/2005 season.

Soares is a right back while Howell plays in midfield. Should either Steve Sidwell or James Harper get injured its thought Steve Coppell would have no worries about putting in Howell into the first team.

All 3 players will now be looking to be regular's in the Royals first team.
