Royals defender's set for Intenational games

Adie Williams has been called up to the Wales squad to face Norway and Canada while Ivar Ingimarsson will represent Iceland against England and Japan in the FA Triangular Tournament which runs from the 30th May to the 5th June at the City of Manchester Stadium.

While most of the Royals players are on holiday at the moment,the season hasn't quite finished for defenders Ivar Ingimarsson and Reading captain Adie Williams.The pair have been called up for their respective countries for end of the season matches.

Ingimarsson has made the Iceland squad to face England and Japan in the FA Triangular Tournament which runs from the 30th May to the 5th June at the City of Manchester Stadium.The tournament will be the last games for England before jetting out to Portugal for Euro 2004.If selected,Ingimarsson is likely to come up against Michael Owen and Wayne Rooney.

Williams will be fortunate he doesn't have to play such class opposition as his Wales squad face Norway and then Canada.Williams has been on the fringes of the squad for a few years now and will be hoping to impress Mark Hughes he can be a part of his World Cup 2006 plans.Wales are in the same group as England and former Reading player Lawrie Sanchez Northern Ireland.

On a sour note for Reading,full back Greame Murty has missed out on the Scotland squad again for the match against Estonia.It looks like Berti Vogts has lost faith in Murts who has only made the 2 appearances for the Scots.
