Reading face Preston North End at the Madejski Stadium looking for a quick response after the poor performance at Derby County on Saturday.

| Glen Little is Reading's only main injury concern at present.
Bobby Convey is likely to start on the left wing with either Paul Brooker or Andy Hughes filling the right hand side. Apart from that Steve Coppell is expected to stick to the same team who so underperformed at Derby on Saturday. Eddie Lewis and Paul McKenna are both doubts for Preston. Both currently have slight knocks. They are likely to face late fitness tests. Defiantly out for North End are Tyrone Mears, Darran Kempson, Callum Davidson, Marlon Broomes and Claude Davis.
