TEAM NEWS

Glenn Little is likely to travel to Watford and could make his return after recovering from a recurring hamstring problem.

In the starting eleven, Nicky Shorey, Nicky Forster and James Harper are set to return after having been rested in the cup.

The main area where Steve Coppell has a number of options is the wings, where Bobby Convey, Paul Brooker and Andy Hughes will all be hoping to start the match.

The rested players are likely to return to Watford's starting line-up. Midfielders Gavin Mahon and Neal Ardley and captain Sean Dyche  should return for the Hornets. Up front Ray Lewington seems certain to bring Danny Webber and Heidar Helguson back into the team.

A number of players from Tuesday night will therefore miss out. Paul Devlin is still out with injury.

FORM GUIDE

The Royals away form has been a cause for concern for Steve Coppell, despite two good performances at West Ham and Millwall, the team has only picked up three points away from home. The Royals will look to amend this on Saturday against the side that beat them in mid-week. This fixture provides an early opportunity for revenge.

Watford have made a strong start to their Championship campaign, they have now clocked up seven games unbeaten with four straight away wins. The 3-0 victory over Reading this week was their fourth clean sheet in a row.

But with Reading out for revenge and a possibility for the Royals to move to top the Championship it could be an interesting afternoon.
