A look at today's Championship results

Reading went top of the Coca Cola Championship table after beating Watford 1:0 at Vicarage Road and other results going their way, Click here to read the Match Report from the game.

One of those results was Derby's draw at home to before play, leaders Wigan Athletic. The Latics had to settle for a point after equalising through Lee McCulloch after Tommy Smith had put The Rams in the lead.

Though the game would end on a sour note for McCulloch who was later sent off before two yellow card offensives.

Reading's opponents in the week, Ipswich Town came from two down to beat Plymouth Argyle at home. Late goals from Shefki Kuqi won the game for the Tractor Boys as they went third in the table.

Argyle continue to slide down the table after their good start to the season.

Inform Stoke also had to come from behind as they claimed a point away from home at Burnley. Steve Cotterill, formally in charge for a brief sell at the Britannia Stadium, saw his Burnley side enter a two nil lead only to see Ade Akinbiyi net twice to earn Tony Pulis a point.

At the other end of the table Rotherham earned a draw at home to Millwall after Chris Sedgwick scored a late leveller for The Millers after Paul Ifill had earlier given Millwall the lead.

Crewe continue to struggle as they went second bottom after losing 1:0 at manageress Preston North End.
