Ingimarsson : I've nothing to prove

The former Iceland defender spent just over a season at Wolves before leaving the club for the Royals in a £100,000 deal.

Ivar told the official website;

"I've nothing to prove to them. I only have to perform for myself and the Reading fans, like in every game. I wasn't happy with how it went at Wolves but luckily I got the break to come to Reading and I'm over the moon with that.

I was there the season they went, I played every minute in the first 12 games and that was it. Later that season I went to Brighton on loan."

Speaking on Saturday's trip, he said;

"It's a great stadium with a super atmosphere and it will be a tough game.

If we are at the top of our game there's no team we have to fear. We're always able to fight back and we're one of the better teams."

The Royals lie in 4th place, 4 points behind league leaders Ipswich Town, while Wolves sit disappointingly in 19th place. They have yet to have announced a new manager to replace Dave Jones, who was sacked 3 weeks ago. Stuart Gray will take charge again on Saturday.
