Kitson set for start against Wolves

The former Cambridge goal scoring machine missed his first game of the season last Saturday against Wigan Athletic after limping out of the 1-0 defeat at Nottingham Forest.

But after 2 weeks in the treatment room, Kitson will be looking to resume normal service against a Wolves side who lie in 19th place.

Kitson took part in his first full training session with the squad on Wednesday and is likely to start alongside Lloyd Owusu up front, leaving Dean Morgan likely to start on the bench.

Kitson isn't the only striker who is set to return with Nicky Forster in full training now after his stomach problem. But Forster will be taking this easy after being plagued with the injury all year.

Shaun Goater is also gaining more match fitness after playing the full 90 minutes in the reserves draw at Bristol City last Wednesday.
