Nicky Forster made his return for the reserves this week and netted twice - he could travel to Leicester as a sub. The injury hit front man has apparently been targeted by Wigan after numerous failed bids for Burnley's Robbie Blake (according to tabloid speculation).

Shaun Goater also scored but whilst he was injured Lloyd Owusu and Dean Morgan have made their mark on the team and the Goat now seems set to leave having never really got in to his groove at the Madejski. Dean Morgan's goal was the only good thing to come out of our last away trip and he will be hoping to stay involved this weekend.

Steve Coppell has been scouring the market for defenders with the defence looking a little shaky. Former skipper and defender Adie Williams moved on recently and it will not help that new captain Graeme Murty is now out with an ankle injury.

Steve Sidwell, therefore, will be the Royals youngest ever captain this Saturday and faces the task of turning around the Royals' poor away form which has seen tem fall from the top three in recent weeks to fourth. Dave Kitson once again is a doubt and surely will not be risked again.

Leicester will welcome Danny Tiatto and Martin Keown from two matches out with hamstring injuries. Former West Ham striker David Connolly is a doubt with a thigh injury and between the sticks on-loan keeper Stuart Taylor replaces Ian Walker who is injured.

FORM GUIDE

The Royals have been pretty poor away from home this season, and where they have played well they have often not got their just rewards. Reading have a bad record against the Foxes too. Steve Sidwell will surely see this as a real challenge to turn the tables and get Reading back on track when on the road.

Leicester are looking forward to better times under a new regime with Craig Levein - a draw at Wigan away and a win against the Royals at home would certainly look good for the new management. This game will be a big game for both sides and a big game for certain players involved - Paul Brooker will be hoping to be involved against his old club, and for Steve Sidwell tomorrow's game is no doubt massive.
