Veteran Martin Keown looks set to miss the trip to Yorkshire as the ex Arsenal man has a knee injury. There is more positive news with Steven Sidwell set to start the game after being a doubt with a dead leg picked up in Reading's draw with Plymouth Argyle last Saturday. Ricky Newman will also be available after serving his suspension after his sending off in the Cup defeat to Leicester City. Bobby Convey may earn a recall to the Reading squad after missing out all together last weekend. The US international played well in the reserves during the week and scored a stunning effort. Leeds add another new face to their squad for the weekend game, Rob Hulse has joined the club till the end of the season on loan from Premiership strugglers West Bromwich Albion. Another loan signing, Michael Gray looks set to continue on the left wing with Danny Pugh likely to be on the bench. Long term casualty Seth Johnson may also be on the bench while Eirik Bakke has suffered a fresh injury set back to delay his return to the Leeds United first team.

FORM GUIDE | |||||

Reading continue to struggle in 2005 with a run that has seen teams behind them close up at a quick rate. A defeat on Saturday could see The Royals slip out of the Play-Offs all together. Reading's latest set back came last weekend when struggling Plymouth Argyle to a point back to Devon with Reading supporters expressing their displeasure with the performance and result at the final whistle. On the other hand Leeds United have been on a decent run of form although still inconsistent. Leeds are now just five points of the Play-Off pack. Kevin Blackwell's team picked up a 1:0 win in their last outing away at Burnley's Turf Moor and they will be looking to build on that when Reading roll into town on Saturday.
