Reading Football Club's President Frank Orton has sadly passed away following a heart attack at his home in Emmer Green.

1871Royals have been saddened by the news that Reading FC Club President Frank Orton has passed away after suffering from a heart attack. The 91 year old had a long and proud association with Reading Football Club and will be greatly missed by many. Speaking on the Official Reading website, John Madejski said "Frank was a lovely man and we are greatly saddened by this news." The club are expected to hold a minutes silence before the Tottenham Hotspur friendly on the 30th July 2005. Everyone from 1871Royals would like to pass on their condolences to Frank's family and friends at this difficult time. |
