News Round-Up: Sweden tour and ticket info

All the latest news to come out of Reading Football Club. Including the end of Reading's tour of Sweden, ticket information and Dean Morgan's move to Luton Town.

Reading have finished their pre-season tour of Sweden with a 2:1 win over
Ljungskile with goals from Glen Little and Ibrahima Sonk o.
Bobby Convey was very harshly sent off for The Royals and the referee even
allowed Reading to bring on a replacement for Convey to keep it at eleven vs
eleven!It completes a successful tour of Scandinavia with Reading winning all three of their tour games, beating Eneryda IF 6:0, Holmalunds IF 8:0 and then their latest win over Ljungskile. It has also been a positive start for new strikers Leroy Lita and Kevin Doyle, both scoring hat tricks in Sweden. Doyle has particularly impressed with the Irish striker putting in a strong case to be in the starting eleven for Reading's first game of the season against Plymouth Argyle on Saturday 6th August 2005.
Tickets are on sale for Saturdays friendly fixture against Tottenham Hotspur. The Spurs line-up may include Edgar Davids who is set to sign from Inter Milan in the next few days. Reading have been heavily linked with former Everton and Bolton Wanderers defender Alan Stubbs. According to many national newspapers, manager Steve Coppell is homing in on Stubbs who was not offered a new contract by David Moyes last season. Stubbs was captain of the Everton side who against all odds claimed fourth place in the Premiership and earn a well deserved Champions League space. The acquisition of a player of Stubb's experience would be a massive coup by The Royals as they look to go one better and reach the Play-Offs next season.
Dean Morgan's association with Reading has ended after the former Colchester forward joined fellow Championship side Luton Town. Morgan was told he could depart the Madejski Stadium on a free transfer along with Paul Brooker, Lloyd Owusu and Shaun Goater after failing to earn a regular place in Steve Coppell's starting line-up last season. 1871Royals would like to wish Morgan all the best as he heads for new pastures.
