Reading Manager Steve Coppell is expected to make a few changes to the starting line-up that beat Swansea City on Tuesday night. It isn't expected that Graham Stack will start the match, and as a result Marcus Hahnemann will start. Captain Graeme Murty will probably come back into the side at the expense of Chris Makin. Glen Little will replace the injured John Oster, most likely on the right wing. Bobby Convey will probably come back into the side at the expense of Stephen Hunt. Leroy Lita will probably start the match instead of Kevin Doyle. Former Watford player Brnyjar Gunarsson will probably again start the game on the bench after recovering from a knee injury. Watford Manager Adrian Boothroyd will probably stick with the same starting 11 that beat Burnley last week. That would mean a start for Darius Henderson against his former club. Henderson is likely to be partnered by on-loan Nottingham Forest striker Marlon King. Malky Mackay will continue in defence after his release from West Ham. But 1 player who won't feature is goalkeeper Richard Lee after he joined Blackburn Rovers yesterday on a season long loan deal with a view to a permanent move. Watford Hotshot - Marlon King King has made a great start to his Watford career and is currently joint Championship goal scorer alongside a former Reading target David Connolly. King currently has 4 goals to his name. |

FORM GUIDE |
|
| Reading go
into this game top of the Coca Cola Championship table after an
impressive 5:0 mauling of Millwall last Saturday. The Royals progressed
into Round 2 of the Carling Cup on Tuesday night after an extra time win
against Swansea City. Perhaps surprisingly, Watford have made a very good start to the season. Many pundits predicted a struggle for Adrian Boothroyd's side but they currently sit in 4th spot having taken 7 points from the first 4 league games. The Hornets like the Royals made it into Round 2 of the Carling Cup after a 3:1 win over Notts County. |
