Newbury are up to 11^th in the table after this away win over the Pertemps Bees who remain in seventh place in the table.

Jon Higgins and Tim Walsh exchanged penalty goal in the opening 10 minutes Higgins gave the Bees the lead again on 20 minutes and four minutes later full back Jon Goodridge went in for the games opening try and Higgins converted for 13-3.

Winger Matt Nutthal went in for another home score soon after and they got a third when scrum half Reece Spee touched down and again Higgins converted and all of a sudden the home side were in command at 27-6.

Newbury managed a try late in the game when blindside Matt Styles touched down and Walsh converted. In the second half Walsh put over a couple of penalty goals in the third quarter to narrow the gap to 27-19.

Replacement wing Ken Bingham got the visitors right back in it with a 76^th minute try converted by Walsh. In injury time Newbury snatched the victory when full back Mal Roberts went over for a try and Walsh added the extras for a dramatic win.

Coventry close the gap on Otley to point after this win over the Yorkshire side.

Coventry went ahead in just the second minute when winger Sam Montague went over for a try and Ben Russell converted for 7-0. Russell added two quick penalties and the home side were 13-0 ahead after 13 minutes which was the way it stayed till half time. .

In the second half it took till the 62^nd minute for the first score with replacement Andy Brown putting over a penalty goal.

It was till till injury time that Coventry rounded off the win when they were awarded a penalty try by referee Richard Draper and Russell converted.

Exeter Chiefs 13 (Tries: Fisher (4), Jenkins (53). Pen: Yapp (40). 

Waterloo 22 (Tries: Murchie (40), Van Deventer (74), Barry (80). Cons: Nutt 2. Pen: Handley (3).  

Waterloo remain second bottom after this win but are within striking distance of the three sides immediately above them in the table.

Waterloo were ahead in the 3^rd minute when fly half Tony Handley put over a penalty goal. The lead lasted about a minute before the Chiefs scored the games opening try through centre Peter Fisher for 5-3. The next score did not come till injury time at the end of the half with Yapp making it 8-3 with a penalty goal. Deeper into injury time and Waterloo took the lead when full Peter Murchie went in for his fifth try of the season and Stephen Nutt, on for the injured Handley, converted for 10-8.

13 minutes into the second half and the Chiefs were back in front with a try from hooker Simon Jenkins which went unconverted.

It was not till the 74^th minute that Waterloo took the lead again with winger Jay Van Deventer going over for a try and that made it 15-13.

They sealed the win in injury time when replacement Graham Barry went over and Nutt added the extras to deprive the Chiefs of a losing bonus point.

Moseley 32 (Tries: O’Leary (37), Rodwell (42), Colvin (49), Cox (76). Cons: Thomas 3. Pen: Thomas (48). DG: Thomas (80). 

Sedgley Park 25 (Tries: Craig (7), P Jones (21), Hall (25). Cons: Jones 2. Pens: Jones 2 (10, 70).  

Moseley pick up their second win of the season with this home win over bottom of the table Sedgley Park who find themselves six points adrift at the bottom of the table. 

It was Park who made the better start and found themselves 22-0 up after 25 minutes thanks to three tries from centre Andy Craig, fly half Phil Jones and right wing Chris Hall, Jones converted two of them and put over a penalty goal as an away win looked on the cards.

By half time Moseley had managed to pull just five points back with captain and centre Daren O’Leary going over for an unconverted try.

By the 49^th minute they were level with further tries form No 8 James Rodwell and left wing Carl Colvin, Ollie Thomas converted both of the tries and slotted over a penalty goal. On 70 minutes Jones gave Park the lead again with a penalty goal but the lead last just six minutes.

The home side were over the Park try line when centre Paul Cox went over for a 76^th minute try and Thomas converted for 29-25.

They sealed the win on 80 minutes when Thomas dropped a goal.

Earth Titans 25 (Tries: Tuohy 3 (35, 56, 68), Fourie (45), Cochrane (51), Griffiths (80).  Cons: Steenson 6.

London Welsh 6 (Pens: Ulph 2 (18, 26).  

The Titans are four points clear of the chasers after picking up all five points in this home win over London Welsh.

The visitors were the first on the scoreboard when Sam Ulph put over a couple of penalties to lead 6-0 after 26 minutes.

Two tries before half time saw the Titans move ahead as hooker Hendrie Fourie and wing Brian Tuohy went over for tries and Gareth Steenson added a conversion for 12-6.

In the second half the Titans ran in five unanswered tries as Tuohy went on too complete a hat trick and move onto eight for the season. Steenson kicked all of his six conversion attempts after Mike Whitehead took the first with Steenson in the sin bin.

Leeds Tykes 30 (Tries: Hepworth (7), Welding (47), Hinton (64), Humphreys (80). Cons: Hinton 2. Pens: Hinton 2 (31, 78).

Leeds Tykes are up to fourth in the table after this win over Yorkshire rivals Doncaster at Headingley.

The Tykes were on the scoreboard after seven minutes when centre Jonny Hepworth went over for a try and Leigh Hinton converted. The minutes later and the visitors were off the mark with Mark Woodrow putting over a penalty goal Full back Wes Davies gave the visitors the lead with a try on 20 minutes and when centre Spencer Davey touched down in the 29^th minute and Woodrow converted they led 15-7.

Before the break Hinton and Woodrow exchanged penalty goal and the visitors went in 18-10 ahead.

Seven minutes into the second half and it was a point game with winger Richard Welding going in for a try and Hinton converting.

The Tykes took the lead again on 64 minutes when full back Hinton went over for as try and a 22-18 lead.

On 78 minutes Hinton increased the lead with a penalty goal and they sealed the win on 80 minutes and picked up a four try bonus point when fly half Ian Humphreys went over for a try.

Nottingham 14 (Tries: Morley (30), Loney (36). Cons: Barlow 2. 

Plymouth Albion 13 (Try: Cane (40). Con: Neethling. Pens: Neethling 2 (8, 12)  

Nottingham picked up just their second win of the season with this narrow success over Plymouth Albion to move up to 13^th in the table.

Wihan Neethling kicked Plymouth into a 6-0 lead with two penalties in the opening 12 minutes. On the half hour mark the home side took the lead when second row Lee Morley touched down and Tom Barlow converted for 7-6.

Six minutes later they were over the visitors try line again with flanker Alex Loney going over and Barlow again on target with the conversion.

Just before the break Albion hit back with scrum half Nigel Cane going over and Neethling adding the extras to make it 14-13 at the break t the home side.

The second half was scoreless as Nottingham took four much needed points.    

Cornish Pirates 34 (Tries: Penalty Tries 2 (28, 61), Evans (46), McAtee (60). Cons: Di Bernardo 4. Pens: Di Bernardo 2 (31, 44). 

Bedford Blues 5 (Try: Staten (14).  

The Pirates are up to second place after this excellent home win over Bedford Blues who had lost just once all season.

It was the Blues who took the lead with winger Mike Staten going over for a 14^th minute try to give his side a 5-0 lead. The lead last 14 minutes before the home side were awarded a penalty try by referee Gareth Copsey and Alberto Di Bernardo added the extras. Before the break Di Bernardo increased the Pirates lead to 10-5 with a penalty goal.

He added another early in the second half before No 8 Matt Evans went in for the second try and Di Bernardo converted. On 50 minutes wing Rhodri McAtee went in for his 6^th try of the season and again Di Bernardo converted. Just after the hour mark they were awarded a second penalty try and claimed the four try bonus point in what was the final score of the match.
