New business plan to be submitted

The local consortium working to save Rotherham Rugby Club will submit their business plan to the RFU later today. A meeting of the RFU board will consider the proposal and they are expected to announce a decision on its acceptance on Wednesday.

Although there are no guarantees that the proposal will be accepted, the club remain confident that they will be able to field a competitive side in National Division One this season.

Players have agreed to massive pay cuts to try and ensure the survival of the club and have continued to train in small groups.
