Squad for Halifax

Titans Head Coach Andre Bester has announced the squad that will face Halifax in round five of the Powergen National Trophy. Winger ND Monye and Scrum Half Michael Kirkwood will make their first starts for the club, although Kirkwood has played twice as a replacement.

Titans coach is taking both the match and the competition very seriously and added, “The strength of the side that we have selected for this game shows the respect that we have for the opposition and how highly we value this competition,” said Bester. “This is the first step on the road to Twickenham and a good cup run would be good for the profile of the club.” Rotherham won this cup competition back in 2002 with a 35-26 victory over Exeter. Another trip to HQ would be an ideal way to sign off what’s looking like a promising season.
