ROTHERHAM U21s, coached by Craig West, take on Yorkshire in the annual pre-County Competition fixture at Clifton Lane on Saturday (Kick-off 2.00 pm).
This will be the fourth year in which the Rotherham versus Yorkshire friendly has been played, the honours to date being even.
The Yorkshire team has been tremendously successful in recent years, often going all the way to the National U20 County Championship final at Twickenham. Yorkshire teams at this level are virtually unbeaten and games against Rotherham in the past have often provided their sternest test of the season.
Previous sides have included players from all over the County - including Rotherham - of immense potential, fast improving youngsters, all pressing their claims for inclusion in the County squad.
Previous games have been thoroughly enjoyable for the spectators and played in an excellent spirit. No doubt this season's encounter will provide another excellent spectacle.
The line-up for Sunday is expected to include:
Gareth Brear, Ben Wilson, Gareth Morley, Duncan Richardson, Will Kirtley, Peter Lewis, Tom Outram, Rhys Moon, Tom Browse, Fraser Wilford, Matt Dickson, Carl Clifford, Dave Cauldwell, Rob Holland, Greg Burnham, James Waterhouse, Ryan Burrows, Steve Maycock, Andy Goodwin, Phil Dale and Gareth Moon.
