A-team v Wharfedale preview

EARTH Titans A-team take on current table-toppers Wharfedale in the next instalment of their NCA campaign at Wharfedale on Saturday (kick-off 3:00 pm).

The Titans will be looking to bounce back from last Saturday's disappointing league defeat against Harrogate and Wharfedale are coming off an unexpected away win at Doncaster.

For the A-team Jamie Kilbane and Sam Walsh return from first team duty, also returning will be James Waterhouse who has impressed with the Yorkshire U-20 National Championship side and Charlie Spon-Smith comes in at flyhalf. Making an appearance on the bench will be Phil Boulton who made seven first team appearances last season.

This return game is expected to be much tougher than the first encounter when the A-team trounced Wharfedale 60-7 at Herringthorpe Stadium in a thrilling ten-try season opener. The A-team will be looking to re-gain their position at the top of the Merit Table with a convincing win and get their season back on-track.
