Janos set for move south

Janos Kovacs is set for a move south after three clubs from in or near London have declared their interest in the defender. After being placed on the transfer list by Chris Sutton, Southend, Barnet and Luton have wasted no time in saying that are interested in the defender, whom has been knocked down to fifth in the pecking order.
Costing City £17,500 in the summer of 2008, City fans were informed by Chesterfield fans that he was good, but inconsistent and that proved to still be the case at Sincil Bank. He has been capable of saving matches, but has also cost the Imps points in games they have been dominating with stupid mistakes, such as the game at Rotherham in November.
Kovacs has now found himself fifth in the pecking order at Sincil Bank, behind Adam Watts, Moses Swaibu and Nathan Baker. He is also behind Danny Hone, whom despite not having played much under Sutton, is still believed to be in the manager's plans. He has only featured in seven matches since Sutton took over at the end of September, with his last appearance coming at Northwich at the end of November.
The Echo claims that Kovacs is wanted by Southend, Barnet and Luton Town and it may literally come down to who doesn't want to wait until the summer so they could have him for free as his contract expires. It would mean that he would move away from the East Midlands for the first time in his English career, assuming no-one else comes in for him.

For a player to sit at home every weekend thats a large slice of the player budget that is effectivly doing sweet fa.
Near enough every player Jacko brought in the summer is not in the side.
That is a absolute waste of club funds and i bet it was never thought out at the time of Jacko's sacking.
Jamie Clarke,Arron Brown, Butcherand Fagin around 2k on wages wasted every week.
Quote:So are you saying we should play them then, even tho they are shiteHelgy
Don't think that Butcher is bothered about moving 18 months left on his contract 1k a week thats a 75k pay off.
