Why Portsmouth shouldn't be given an unfair advantage

A news story today has angered myself to the point where I'm writting an article about Portsmouth. The Premier League club have asked the FA to basically allow them to trade outside the transfer window, and the FA has astonishingly contacted FIFA, but in my opinion this should not be allowed and Portsmouth should be made to struggle, like virtually everyone else.
Portsmouth are a club that have struggled on and off the pitch for a few years and on the verge of going bust, they have contacted the FA with regards to allowing them to trade outside of the transfer window, and the FA have contacted FIFA regarding that matter. Quite frankly this is unbelieveable and we'll explain why.
As usual the FA are going out of their way to try and aid a Premiership club and try and give them every chance of surviving, even contacting FIFA about the matter, but it doesn't make you wonder what the Kings Lynn's of this world think. Kings Lynn went bust earlier in the season, as did 18 other clubs, so if Portsmouth are allowed to do this, then it is a slap in the face to the lower leagues, divisions that are full of financially stricken clubs and get precisely sod all help from the FA.
Why should a Premiership club be different from any other club in the country? Lincoln City, York City, Hull City, Cambridge United, Southend United, Macclesfield Town, Kings Lynn, Weymouth, Farsley Celtic, Notts County, Leeds United, Huddersfield Town, Southampton, Rotherham United, Luton Town, Macclesfield Town, Bournemouth and many others have all had financial difficulties over the last ten years and the FA did precisely nothing to help them, even giving some clubs massive points deductions that would virtually guarantee they got relegated.
Look at Southampton for example. The end of last season saw them want to enter administration and the FA said that if they got relegated anyway then the points deduction would only count in the new season, but if they had gained enough to survive then the ten points would have been taken off their and then, giving the club absolutely no chance to survive.
The FA said that they were making an example of Southampton and they should do exactly the same to Portsmouth by saying no, you aren't allowed to sell your players. Portsmouth should not allowed to do dealings in this transfer window simply because it shows unfair biased towards Premier League clubs. I have no particular dislike for Portsmouth as a club, it's fans (other than the attention seeking one who looks like an overgrown, hairy smurf), but at the end of the day they should not be given a benefit that no-one else has?
As Macclesfield's chairman stated recently, why should so many clubs play by the rules and do everything correctly, only for those who mess around to be given a "Get out of jail free" card every time it goes pear shaped?
Then again, I don't know why we should expect anything else from the FA and Premier League. They give Premiership club massive parachute payments when they go down, why should they be given around £60m for getting relegated? You don't see teams getting parachute payments when relegated from the other divisions, so why should the Premier League be any different?
So in summary, Portsmouth don't deserve to be given this chance because no-one else gets it, and there are clubs that have to deal on crowds that are 1-5% the size of the crowds that Portsmouth get. Portsmouth are not a more important club simply because they are in the Premiership.

Here we go again!
Will we ever get the right man?
What incentive is there for clubs like ourselves who manage to balance the books by being prudent with our money.
Clubs like Rotherham take the p*ss and Notts County are another who are coming unstuck.
The FA/Football League need to maybe make an example of a club to send the right message out to all clubs that they have to live within their means!
Like thats ever going to happen!!!

The Macclesfield chairman was right and i'm surprised more chairmen havent spoken out about this.

Agree tatally with what you are saying ,why does the league come down hard on Morecombe for exceeding their 60% wage limit but not these clubs that everyone knows are bent.
