Watts breaks leg and ends his season
By Slevin Morgan
February 20 2010
Adam Watts' season is almost certainly over after he broke his leg in the 2-2 draw with Grimsby Town. The defender went up for a header with Lee Peacock but came off second best, and after several hours of examination in Grimsby's hospital, has been diagnosed with a broken leg.
Watts joined the Imps in October to become the first player Sutton brought to this club, and other than the odd game here and there, has been an excellent acquistion for the Imps.
The news of his broken leg adds to a growing injury list. It is not highly unlikely we'll see Watts on the pitch again this season and we would all like to wish him a quick recovery.

Indeed it could be upto 6 months depending on how the break and quick he heals.
Good luck Adam.
If I hear anything at work on Monday on how the op went and if I'm allowed to post it on here.
We saved Grant Brown and I'm sure my colleagues will do their best for young Adam.

Sutton;s concern re. Kovacs departure rings true.
We have Pearce, Moses & Hone....please no more injuries or suspensions!

Good luck watts. feel for him because he was playing well and done great so far this season.
another chance for hone to stay in team or sutton will get someone in on loan.

Future captain for me I rate him very highly plays above his years very mature.

Where has the money gone?
Maybe CS can call a favour in?

The only cod head to come out of this sad injury with any credit imo was their keeper Nick Colgan,he started to applaud the second they lifted the stretcher and carried on till they left the field
