England to pay respects to Alexander
By Nathan Jackson
March 3 2010
The England national team will pay tribute to Keith Alexander in their friendly against Egypt tonight by wearing black armbands. The Under 21s will also wear the armbands in their match.
Keith Alexander (Legend) died today and England have confirmed they will wear a black armband, something that they only usually reserve for major figures in football.
The game against Egypt will be played at Wembley Stadium at 8pm tonight.

An amazing tribute cant believe it.
It was mentioned on the sky football league show that he has set up something on his home island in the caribbean of St Lucia to help the local children, what a great man.

Good on Peter given that it's widely believed that he and Alexander didn't get on at all. Then again, neither did Keith and Leroy Resenior but Leroy spoke positively about him a few weeks ago on the FL Show.
