Draw details for the Carling Cup

The details of the draw for next season's Carling Cup have been released. City have gone out in the first round in each of the last four seasons, with that memorable game at Fulham being the last time the Imps featured in the second round.
The draw will be regionalised and seeded, meaning almost certainly that the Imps will be in the Northern Unseeded group. That could mean a rematch against Barnsley, or even local derbies against Doncaster Rovers or Scunthorpe United. We won't be going to Hull though as they and Burnley both receive a bye.
The Northern section is likely to be the smaller half of the draw with there being considerable more teams in the south now that two northern teams got relegated out of the Football League.
The draw will take place on June 16th and although they haven't confirmed exactly who will be in the North section, we suspect our opponents will come from one of the below.
Barnsley
Derby County
Doncaster Rovers
Leicester City
Middlesbrough
Nottingham Forest
Peterborough United
Preston North End
Scunthorpe United
Sheffield United
Sheffield Wednesday
Carlisle United
Huddersfield Town
Leeds United
Norwich City
Walsall
