Half time and it's blatently obvious England won't win WC

It's half time in South Africa and England are putting in a characteristically poor performance. The Three Lions have been more like The Three Kittens in the first half, with the only shots on target going straight at the goalkeeper, whereas the Algerians have worked James.

When you play two strikers who've played in five World Cups between them and neither have actually scored, you're just asking for trouble. Enough of this nonsense about Heskey being a good side-kick to the other striker, if I wanted a good side-kick then I'd choose Robin, Donkey (from Shrek) or Little John, not Emile bloody Heskey. If you're going to win the World Cup, you need players who are going to score goals, and the fact that Heskey has only scored 35 League goals in the last 7 seasons proves that he is not.

It does make you wonder why Capello bothered to take Defoe, maybe he was thinking when picking the squad "Well that bench won't warm itself."

All the strikers supposedly keep saying they love playing with Heskey, I say supposedly because no-one has actually seemingly heard/seen a quote from an England striker actually saying that. Then again, he's done more than Wayne "I disappear for big games" Rooney has so far in this World Cup.

In all fairness I don't even know why I'm surprised. England, virtually always overhyped, haven't played well for a long time, infact, I'd go as far as saying that they're simply incompetent. How can players who earn more in a week than most people do in five/six years, barely get a pass to go five yards without it going to the opposition? Even my old Sunday League side, whom lost every game from October onwards last season, manage to string passes together.

It's blatently obvious that England aren't the best team in the world and as it stands there's more chance of Lincoln winning the Champions League next season than there is of England winning the World Cup.

No bullshit, no hype, no undeserved praise, this England team are not good enough to win the World Cup and will be lucky to get out of the group at this rate. There is not one England player that is the best player in the world in there position....and to all those that mention Rooney, I'll raise you Torres, Messi, Villa, Higuain, Forlan, that's five names just off of the top of my head and not even looking properly into it.

Now watch as England win just to make this rant look a bit foolish.....but I think I'm pretty safe based on the performance England are given.

Even Fabio can't make a silk purse out of overpaid sows ears.

They are a National embarrassment. Bring them home and turn them into glue.

Coops

One of my friends on Facebook was saying she's lost her wedding ring, I said "Maybe you should look up Wayne Rooney's @#$%&, you'd have to ask him to take his thumb out first."

Good Luck, Mr Gorsky
