Local derbies still possible in FA Cup draw

Several of our local(ish) non-league teams will be in the draw for the 1st Round of the FA Cup when the draw is made tomorrow. Mansfield and Eastwood both went through, with Grimsby taking Tamworth to a replay. Several low-non-league clubs also made it through to the draw.

Lincoln will be ball number 24 and most City fans will be hoping for a non-League side for the third year in a row. There are some local derbies available from non-League, Eastwood, Mansfield and Grimsby all within an hour drive and in the draw.

There are also plenty of ex-Imps at non-League sides that wouldn't be displeased to face the Imps. Patulea's Hayes and Yeading, Shane Clarke's Gateshead, Paul Connor's Mansfield, Rene Howe's Rushden, Aaron Brown's Darlington, Dean Keates' Wrexham and various others will look forward to the draw.

Interestingly, both MK Dons and AFC Wimbledon are in the draw.
