City to take MK Dons' Howell

Lincoln City are due to make their first signing under the leadership of Steve Tilson with the capture of Luke Howell. The midfielder was a regular in Milton Keynes Dons' promotion chase in League One last season, but has been struggling for games since Paul Ince left.

Howell started his career at Gillingham but only made 1 appearance for the club between 2003 and 2007 before joining MK Dons. He played 53 times for MK Dons, most of which came last season, but has since found a first team place hard to come by.

“Luke’s got good technical ability and has a good engine,” Paul Brush told the Lincolnshire Echo. “He played around 30 games for MK Dons last season, but hasn’t been involved under the new manager this season. He wants to come here and he needs games.”

The loan move is expected to be made official today with him going straight into the squad for the game against Wycombe on Saturday.

Anybody can score goals if they take their chances which our team haven't done as yet.
But Luke has only scored once in the league, the season was 2008/9
But he's played central defence & in midfield & also as an attacking full back.
But apparently is good on the ball & his technical skills are good also
So let's wait & see what he's like
