Cheltenham game postponed

Lincoln City's game at Cheltenham Town has rarely unsurprisingly been postponed following the recent weather issues. It is the second game at Whaddon Road in three days to be postponed and means the Imps will have to wait until Tuesday, at the earliest, for their next taste of competitive football.

With games around the country being postponed, it seemed almost inevitable that the match at Cheltenham wasn't going to go ahead. They had their home game against Southend in midweek called off, and conditions haven't improved since then and the match has rather unsurprisingly been called off.

It means that the Imps' next game will come against Hereford, assuming that goes ahead. If it does go ahead, it will be the third time in four games that the teams have faced each other.

Judging by the weather forecast and the safety issues o/side the stadium i can see not only the FA Cup replay being off but Oxford falling foul to weather also

Yep me too mate, I'm sure that you guys in the police will be pushing for that and you're totally correct to do so as the roads and pavements round wont be gritted will they?
Was a bit dodgy in bits around the ground on boxing day last year.
This is like a winter from my childhood in the 70s and 80s when it wasnt uncommon for us not to play for 4-6 weeks during the winter but they extended the season back then before the days of the playoffs.
Going further back 1947 I think we didnt play for around 3 months and the seaon finished in June!

Here we go again!
Will we ever get the right man?
