Dave Roberts to leave Lincoln

Lincoln City will be in search of a new Chief Executive after Dave Roberts announced he will be leaving the club at the end of the season. Roberts has been at the club for several years and was one of the members of the club who often talked to the media.

Roberts will be leaving Lincoln City at the end of the season in order to find a new challenge. It was confirmed on Thursday night's AGM between the clubs and it's shareholders. Roberts has often faced the media regarding issues relating to the club, often appearing on news shows when managers have either arrived or left the club.

Shareholders were sent a letter that included praise for Roberts, hailing his attempts to get achieve a "positive cash flow" for the financial year of 2009/10.

Good riddance. A CEO who treats major shareholders with disdain has no place at the Club. Plus he clearly viewed the position as one that could be filled on a part-time basis. No loss.
