Lincoln City's fourth match in a row has been postponed following a failed pitch inspection. It's the third time in seven days that a match at Sincil Bank has been called off, that despite improved weather and now means City will have a very busy schedule between now and the weekend of the third round.

City will now be hoping that the Aldershot game on Saturday will become the first match City have played in the League since November 23rd. If all games from that point go ahead the Imps face a whopping SIX fixtures in 17 days, as the replay has been rearranged for next Tuesday.

The Imps travel to Aldershot on Saturday before the game with Hereford. The comes five days before City travel to Port Vale and it's a further two days until City face Shrewsbury at Sincil Bank. Bradford make the trip to Sincil Bank three days later and City round it all off with a game against Northampton on January 3rd. City will then travel to either Wycombe in the FA Cup or Macclesfield in the league on the 8th.
