Adams leaves Lincoln City

By Nathan Jackson
December 15 2010

Lincoln City and Nathan Adams have mutually agreed to cancel the contract of the young striker. He came into the first team under Peter Jackson but quickly got frozen out by Chris Sutton, nor has he had opportunities under Tilson.

Adams was one of a plethora of youngsters who broke into the first team under Peter Jackson, almost scoring with his first touch against Exeter, although his brilliant half-volley was well saved. He made a handful of appearances before Jackson left in September 2009, since then he has rarely even been on the bench.

He is the first player to be leave the club before what is expected to be a reasonably busy transfer window for the Imps.
