That's what the 12th man have been saying for the last year, did you think about my pm Nathan.

I'm going to be honest and say I've read it and have not given it a second thought.

I'll be completely honest and say that the moment that all this "12th Man/Vitals" thing popped up recently, I stopped generally caring. Why, for the second time, should I contribute my time and effort to something that won't get this site any credit?

Much like the Keith Alexander flag, regardless of how it was bought about, several members of this message board, myself included, whom don't use Vitals effectively paid for Vitals to get advertising, and to be quite honest, it took the @#$%& a bit.

Some people on there were alledgely very upset that it had Vitals on the bottom, but 1) I bet they're not complaining about the extra hits it has caused, and 2) If they were that bothered, the flag would be folded to cover that bit up.

Why should I put money towards something that will go towards advertising a messsage board where abuse is generally given towards either myself or the site? For example, I often go on and have a little read and see all the praise that Vitals gets for doing things like the armbands and stuff that they sell, only for a few people to then say something along the lines of "Why doesn't Nathan donate the money he gets paid to do his site to the club/the 12th man".........well if I did get paid anything to do this site then I probably would.

Don't get me wrong, I know that advertising Vitals is not what most of the money will go to, but let's face it, if a random person saw the "12th Man/Vitals" thing, they're automatically going to assume that Vitals is solely involved and that no-one else is contributing.

And the icing on the cake came regarding the Match 5, I was again randomly reading Vitals recently and a few people said "All the proceeds from Nathan's tournament are going to the 12th man".......oh, are they now??? That's funny, because I've never said that because that's not what's happening. Every, after my expenses, is going to charity.

So in short, tell me why I should continually put effort into thinking of ideas for the 12th Man, when my site gets absolutely nothing in return, watching as the word "Vitals" is associated with everything, a board where both this site and myself get regularly criticised?

Call me selfish if you want but I'm sick of doing stuff for other people and watching as the other people get all the credit for it.

I'm happy for you to still put messages on the forum, but the chances of me thinking of ideas without getting credit for it is, let's put it this way, the opposite of Hurley from Lost.

Oh really? Why did you call the thread 12th Man/Vitals Sponsorship Pledge?

If you weren't advertising Vitals then why include their name in the mission to get money? From including their name in the title, especially on other message boards, you're giving the impression that Vitals are the only board that are contributing to the cause, meaning fans of other clubs who came onto the other forums will automatically go and look at Vitals to see more information about it.

If it had just been "12th Man Sponsorship Pledge" then you'd have had an argument, but including Vitals in the name of the sponsorship threads is giving them advertising.

I try to make this as clear as possible it's not about anyone getting credit for anything or advertising.
The 12th man usually donates the money straight to the club.
This time due to one of the main sponsors unfortunately going under we descided to try to replace them.
We have been asking alot of people to join in to help and on saturday i asked the trust if they wanted to join in.
The Echo have helped and the club are happy with it ,it is very clear from your replies you have a problem with Vitals.
