Imps sign Sunderland goalkeeper

Lincoln City have signed Sunderland goalkeeper Trevor Carson on loan until mid-February. Although mandatory due to the injury to Joe Anyon, it was well known that Tilson was looking for a new goalkeeper, and it was only a matter of time before Anyon was dropped.
The 22 year old Northern Irishman was on loan at Chesterfield in 2008/9 and represented them 18 times, but he has never made a League appearance for the Black Cats. During his time at Sunderland he has been understudy to Craig Gordon and Martin Fulop.
He, along with new loanee Stephen Hunt, goes straight into the squad for Saturday's game at Stockport.

Lets hope he a brilliant loan signing like the last player we had,who had been on loan at Chesterfield.
