Lincoln City have signed Milton Keynes Dons' Luke Howell on a permanent deal following a productive loan spell. Howell joined the Imps at the end of October and his loan spell has been renewed several times following a string of impressive performances in midfield.

Lincoln have had a recent habit of making loan signings permanent, with Delroy Facey and Drewe BroughtonPlayer : Howell getting permanent deals, that despite less than impressive loan spells. Down the years there have been a few loanees that have then gone on to join us permanently, others include Marcus Richardson, Matt Bloomer, Gareth Grant,  Kingsley Black and Francis Green (who's permanent deal was official less than 24 hours after he had signed on loan).

Howell has played ten times for the Imps so far as has impressed, including an excellent performance on the right wing in the 2-1 win over Cheltenham on Tuesday evening.

His deal runs until the end of the season.
