Lincoln City, England's inform team

Lincoln City's run of five straight wins has moved the Imps to the top of England's consecutive wins tables. The 1-0 win at Hereford meant City have taken 15 points from the last five games to all but end relegation fears.
With Arsenal throwing away a 4-0 lead against Newcastle, Lincoln winning against Hereford means that the Imps are on their own at the top of the successive wins table. Arsenal were on six in a row before their draw at Newcastle, whereas Manchester United would have also been at five straight wins if they had beaten Wolverhampton.
It's a massive turn around for a side that had lost the first four games of 2011 and has seen relegation fears disappear as the Imps have risen up the table.

I doubt we will go down, but if we repeat our run of the first four games of 2011 we will be back in there.

Ahh, they've won six League games in a row, but they lost last week in the cup, so taking that into account, we have the most consecutive wins out of all of the top four divisions.

Reminds me of the greatest survival feat in the whole history of english football. 1952, rock bottom of Div 2 and won the last 6 matches. Lincoln City.
