Drewe scores AGAIN!

Drewe Broughton has achieved twice in one week for AFC Wimbledon something that he has yet to do for the Imps in nearly thirty appearances, score a goal. Drewe was on the scoresheet as his AFC Wimbledon side comfortably beat Altrincham 4-1.

Broughton has failed to score for the Imps in nearly 30 appearances  and he poor scoring form has meant that Steve Tilson has sent him out on loan to AFC Wimbledon. He made a goalscoring debut (and a winning goal at that) in a 5-2 win against Tamworth last week and he made it two in three games by scoring the fourth and final goal of AFC Wimbledon's 4-1 thumping of Altrincham.

The result sees AFC Wimbledon remain top by three points over Crawley, but Crawley do have five games in hand on AFC Wimbledon, as do fourth placed Luton Town. The Dons have a big month ahead of them, they face Playoff chasing Kidderminster on the 12th and then a (current) top two battle on March 18th.
