Tuesday night doesn't go well for the Imps

Lincoln City's Tuesday evening was disappointing without even playing. City slipped to 20th in the division due to results elsewhere. With the group around the Imps becoming quite compact, Lincoln's goal difference is proving the cause of the fall down the table.

Four defeats in a row and the second worst goal difference in the division symbolises why City's slip down the table in recent weeks isn't that surprising. Only bottom placed Stockport have a worse goal difference and City are bottom of the group of four teams on 46 points. The division at the bottom was made even tighter on Tuesday evening.

Bradford winning and Hereford securing a credible 0-0 draw with Wycombe has pushed the Imps down to 20th place, with only Northampton and Burton giving City a cushion over the bottom two, those two sides drew 1-1 on Tuesday evening.

The division is now so tight that Bradford in 15th and Lincoln in 20th are separated by just 1 point. City face Gillingham on Saturday aiming for a first win since the 2-1 win over Southend three weeks ago, with the Imps only gaining one point in the five games since.

I think you should check the Hereford result.

Why should we check the Hereford result, it says it was a 0-0 draw

The original article by Nathan reported a Hereford win, that's why. It's now been corrected apparently.
