Imps announce 2011/12 season ticket prices

Lincoln City have announced the prices of the season tickets and it's good news for current season ticket holders if they renew by the end of this season, with a season ticket costing £245/279 (dependent on stand) up until that point.

With fans become more disillusioned with things going on at Sincil Bank, the board knew they had to do something to entice the glory-hunters back. During the Playoff years our crowds swelled to double their normal size, averaging over 5,000 fans a game in the 2006/7 season, however, since then all those that only joined for the Playoffs have disappeared and now it's not uncommon to have less than 3,000 home fans in attendance at Sincil Bank.

The Imps have tried several incentives throughout the season to get fans back, ranging from £5 games to kid for a quid and various other promotions, however, the poor home record of recent years continues and fans continue to talk with their feet. There is still the possibility that the Imps won't even be in League Two next season, however, this hasn't stopped the Imps releasing the season ticket prices.

BEFORE MAY 9TH

Adult - £279 or £30.29 monthly (total£302.90)

Concessions - £179 or £19.44 monthly (total £194.40)

Children - £55 or £5.97 monthly (total £59.70)

STACEY WEST, SOUTH PARK and the Echo Stand

Adult - £245 or £26.60 monthly (total £266.60)

Concessions - £150 or £16.29 monthly (total £162.90)

Children - £55 or £5.97 monthly (total £59.70)

Adult - £299 or £32.47 monthly (total £324.70)

Concessions - £199 or £21.61 monthly (total £216.10)

Been a Lincoln fan for 32 years and never purchased a season ticket.....I will invest when they invest!!

Well I say glory supporters because our crowds suddenly jumped from struggling to get 3,000 home fans to comfortably over 5,000 during the Playoff years....and as soon as we started struggling again it was back down to around 3,000....hence why I say "glory supporters"....only turning up when we do well.

Do these prices presume we shall be playing in Division 2 next year or will there be a reduction if we are relegated.

Nathan, some supporters were like me, followed Lincoln since the 70's, interest dwindled during the early nineties and then realised we could be losing our club after going into admin.

The thing about that is that the crowds at the beginning of 2002/3 were pretty much the same as the 2001/2 season, so the fact went into admin had virtually no impact on attendances.....if you ignore the local derbies which will generally always be higher.

It wasn't until around January/February when we had a realistic chance of the Playoffs (we had been midtable for most of the season until that point)- and all of a sudden we were getting considerably bigger crowds.....the crowds that soon disappeared after the Playoff years were over.

Joe and I will be renewing ours again and we will be taking advantage of the extra £20 reduction.

£245 / 23 = 10.65 per game.

Joe, still under 21, will pay £150 / 23 = £6.52 per game.

Now that is value for money!

According to some of more 'cheerful' fans Eric watching the Imps for ANY price isnt good value EVER!

I will be renewing as well but using the monthly payment plan as I'm saving up for something else and want my money for that.

I shall be renewing mine at £179.00 that's about £7.78 per home game which is quite good value

If they up rooted and move to play in my local park then I may buy one. However as they wont be, I cannot afford to pay for one and then have to travel for about a 130 mile round trip. And as I would miss some week day night matches due to my job it isnt worthwhile. However from what I understand the team play like a team that plays in my local park.
I actually did have a season ticket the first time Keith was manager and I also had a Monday - Friday 9-5 job. However when they sacked him I voted with my feet and didnt buy another. And I remember it only cost £95.00 then. I decided to get one for Coventry City the following season as they had just opened their new West stand at Highfield Road. It cost only £150.00. I could be home by 5.30 instead of about 7.30 and if the speedway was on at Coventry Brandon stadium on the Saturday evening I could go there as well. Ah the good old days.
