Paul Green is our longest serving player and is the only one out of the current bunch to have represented the Imps in the Playoffs

Paul Green is our longest serving player but to be honest he is far too injury prone to be considering in that sort of context. 127 appearances in four and a half years tells it's own story about how injury prone he is and if he doesn't actually get a new contract then this will actually be the reason.
To be honest I think Paul Green's return to the squad in recent months prompted generally improved performances in terms of defensive stability, but we were still conceding on a regular basis, not that it was really Green's fault.
Green is one of those players who will never be the star player in your team but he tries, which is more than can be said for most of the rest of the defence. Whether he will be willing to play in the Blue Square Premier, or whether Tilson wants to keep him, remains to be seen.

These lads never let anyone down, Green has been asked to play at centre back when he's a right back and has done well, even though he's not in the side because the manager believes in him, i think he's done well.
Clapham is one of the few players who can pass the ball, i think if he had been playing in centre midfield the last 10 games then maybe we would of stayed up.
You could at least see that Clapham and Green cared.
