Reaction to Adam Watt's 2010/11

I used to be a big fan of Adam Watts but his performances towards the end of the season were poor, beyond poor infact. It appears that Watts' performance very much depends on the experience of the person next to him and to be honest, he hasn't been the same player since his leg was broken.

The leading appearance holder during the season had a mixed year. I must admit I was surprised when Watts decided to grow his hair out, so much the point where looking at any pictures of him without any hair now looks strange. That was a start of a season where Watts was completely different to what I thought he initially was.

Despite being poor in an away game at Northwich in the FA Cup, Watts' first season at Sincil Bank was decent before he suffered a broken leg at Grimsby. He made his return in late pre-season this year and although initially nothing appeared to have changed, Watts gradually became less reliable throughout the season.

Initially I thought his downturn in form came because he was partnered with Moses Swaibu, but Swaibu soon left and the mistakes kept coming, even during the five match winning run he looked a bit dodgy.

With Watts being with us next season, it'll be interesting to see how he copes, assuming he plays, with the burly strikers of the non-League.
