Tilson releases a surprising retained list

Lincoln City manager Steve Tilson has surprised many by offering Andy Hutchinson a new contract. It's the fourth professional contract the young striker has been offered, the despite him only ever scoring one goal for the club. Elsewhere Delroy Facey was the surprise inclusion in the released list.
Tilson has swung the axe at Sincil Bank today by offering just three players new contracts and everyone else was either released or made available for transfer. A cull was expected but some of the names on both aspects of the cull have surprised.
Delroy Facey was made captained before he was injured and was not only a fans favourite, but he had a brilliant impact on the team and performances in the middle of the season, however, he has not been offered a new contract. Delroy is one of nine to be shown the door with Joe Anderson, Drewe Broughton, Jamie Clapham, Paul Green, Cian Hughton, Patrick Kanyuka, Clark Keltie and Scott Spencer joining him in the footballing wilderness.
Out of all those out of contract, only Danny Hone, Luke Howell and Andy Hutchinson have been offered new contracts. Hutchinson's non-inclusion in the release list is a big surprise as he hasn't done anything to justify a new contract, or two of the other three professional contracts we have offered him since his first team introduction in 2008.
Mustapha Carayol, Ali Fuseini and Gavin McCallum have all been made available for transfer, whereas Joe Anyon, Josh O'Keefe and Adam Watts have all been told they are free to leave the club.

Still, Tilson can get his own team in now, and there be no cliques. No excuses that way if it all goes @#$%& up, eh?
Come on Tilson he was 1 of our better players who tryed hard, showed some passion/fight to help us win the 5 or so games we won in the season.
Oh my days, he's one of only few i hope gets new league club.
