Reaction to Drewe Broughton's 2010/11

Oh Drewe, you came, you saw, you stood offside.

Where do you start with Mr Broughton? Where, oh where? Steve Tilson has only managed two football clubs and inherited Drewe at both of them and he has now released him both times.....I wonder what the betting is that the next team Tilson goes on to manage, Drewe is there. 

During his loan spell I loved Drewe's efforts, he was a trier and to be fair, I could see at that point why he consistently got clubs. He may not have gotten the goals but he was certainly trying, however, his permanent spell has been completely different.

Not only did he waste the few goalscoring opportunities he had (I'm not even convinced he's had a shot on target for us) but the amount of times he killed an attack by being offside was beyond a joke. It got to the point where he would come off of the bench and run straight into a position where he would be offside if the ball was played up to him.

It comes as no surprise that he has been offered no new contract, and I would be amazed if he somehow manages to find another League club.
