Wimbledon destroy Fleetwood to reach final

AFC Wimbledon are one game away from the Football League after destroyed Fleetwood 6-1 on the night, 8-1 on aggregate in their Playoff Semi Final on Wednesday night. They will face Luton Town in the final and you suspect the loser will be the favourites next season.

After gaining promotion 5 times in 7 years, Fleetwood were swept aside in their attempt at a sixth in eight as Wimbledon destroyed them 8-1 on aggregate, with Wednesday night's 6-1 win following Wimbledon's 2-0 win in Lancashire last week.

Mohamed scored a hatrick with Kedwell, Jolley and Mulley completing the scoring for Wimbledon, Seddon getting the consolation for Fleetwood.

It now means that the Imps will face the losers of the final between Luton and Wimbledon. The final is played on Saturday 21st at the City of Manchester Stadium.
