Rushden chucked out of Blue Square Premier?

It appears that Rushden and Diamonds have been ejected from the Blue Square Premier division ahead of their court appearance over a winding up meeting next week. It is believed that Southport will become the latest winners of what has become known as the AGM Cup.
For several years clubs have survived despite finishing in the relegation zone. This is due to other clubs going out of business and allowing other teams to survive. This became known as the AGM Cup and the main team to benefit from this has historically been Altrincham, who avoided relegation via this method three years running.
Southport appear to have been the latest team to benefit from this after Rushden and Diamonds appear to have been ejected from the Blue Square Premier due to their massive financial issues, of which they have a court date next week.
Although nothing has officially been confirmed by the Conference website or either team's official website, feeds on Twitter from numerous sources that are known to be Blue Square officials, such as Alan Alger, have effectively confirmed it.
